Based on the Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn anime, the Sinanju model kit is in 1/100 scale and becomes a fully articulated figure once complete. Sinanju comes with a Beam Rifle with grenade launcher attachment, a pair of Beam Axes and Beam Sabers and a shield. Both a sheet of waterslide decals and foil stickers are provided so you can choose which one you prefer for the model. The bazooka used in episode 6 is also included and can combine with the rifle for a menacing weapon.

I’ve heard the waist it is pretty fragile. Is that still true? If so has it been exaggerated or is it just as bad as people say it is?

Yes it's true, for both versions, where the torso and waist meet. You can get a metal replacement peg online fairly readily

Great kit with some flaws
The Mg Sinanju is a great kit. The build wasn't frustrating besides the Hindes on the forearm not being straight and being sorta bent so I can't store the beam sabers there. The articulation is great as well and should have no problem being in any pose as long as your careful. The waist honestly wasn't a problem at all, it can be a bit tight at first so merely sanding it down a little before connecting the waist with the torso should do the trick. After connection you shouldn't have to worry about breakage. My two biggest grips are the lack of color separated gold but if you wish to paint it then its less of a problem. My next issue are the hands as they can't seem to hold the beam rifle at all due to the little nub and small crack to pop it in. Will probably just buy some proposed hands. The shield clip thing is a bit of a pain to get on properly so just leave the clip on the arm after getting it on and just clip it with the shield when you wanna use it. Other than that, the kit is really good and would recommend, just a few flaws.

Must have kit
I love this thing, I actually have 2 now. The other is still in the backlog. But omg, the build was very pleasurable and fun, I can't wait to build and paint it again. Definitely pay attention the waist like others have mentioned and you'll have yourself a solid kit.

Be careful with the waist joint
Probably my favorite set I’ve bought from Newtype, it’s beautiful, but fragile around the waist during assembly but fine after. Just make sure you push at exactly 90 degrees when connecting the waist and torso or the peg will snap. I also have the sinanju stand. Overall a very detailed and satisfying build. Comes with stickers, dry transfers and water decals.
