These are as good as I was hoping they would be. Do I still need to sand nubs? Of course - but honestly I'd still be sanding even using much more expensive nippers. They're nothing fancy, but they get the job done, and are great for beginners. The only complaint I have (which is minor) is that after using these for a few months, the grips can occasionally slip a little. This has never affected a cut, though, and is nothing a little super glue won't fix.
