Looks great after the build but all the extra equipment bogs down an already precarious ver. Ka design. It really ends up being a big brick that stands there looking very good. Be prepared for the monotony of repeated steps on all the equipment. The booster bed, while cool, will most likely never be used in shelf display...

I’ll be honest, I completely checked out of this kit for a few months after finishing the Unicorn itself and both Beam Magnums. The whole Full Armor unit is just so tedious and repetitive, with over half of this kit’s 34 runners making up that Full Armor unit, you’ll either need to have extreme patience or be a hyperfan of the Unicorn to be able to build this kit in a relatively short time frame. The hip and knee joints also get weak over time in just a static standing pose even without the Full Armor unit, and that’s really not acceptable, especially from a Master Grade. Part of this kit’s hefty price tag really should have been a few die-cast parts. Over all, I can’t in good consciousness recommend this kit unless you’re ready to overcome its challenges.

me and my husband are both modelkit builders and had recently purchased a regular unicorn with the pink psycho frame mg from a local hobby store and we honestly were quite disappointed in it due to how fragile the kit was for a master, however, my husband has been dying to get his hands of a full armor, specifically the MGEX but we were afraid to spend the money incase it was also extra fragile, so as a gift to him, i purchased this one. and honestly, its a really good kit, not much possibility due to the extra armor, but thats what we wanted! everything about it is perfection. and now we cant wait to grab the MGEX.

Like the title, the FA unicorn ver ka has 0 posability due to the sheer weight of the armaments as well as the hands having the notorious small peg that cant hold anything for the life of it. The beam magnum is okay to hold but the beam spear is a complete no go. Not only that, the gundam is so fragile when trying to pose that almost anything and everything will fall off it of when trying to set it making it extremely fragile. Would recommend the RG over this anyday

This is one of the longest and most arduous builds I've ever done. I had difficulty keeping myself motivated to finish it with its 30-odd sheets. Nevertheless I am very satisfied with the end result, despite its fragility. I would recommend the RG version of this kit over the MG for ease of building, but this one is a beautiful centerpiece of my collection.
