Will this work for the HG?
Answer
That is not likely, since the connection points in these effects are made to match the hardpoints on the Robot Spirits version. You could attempt to modify them to work, however.

Is there a chance that this is coming back in stock soon here or anywhere else?
Answer
Unlike figures from other companies Bandai very rarely outright retires Robot Spirits or ver.ANIME products, and especially not with Gundam. There has been a recent trend in ver.ANIME reissues and the 25th anniversary of the 08th MS Team starts this year (actually in 5 days!) so it's very possible for the Ground Gundam and Option parts to get a restock in the near future, it just might be a bit of a wait
