I'm not entirely sure what's up with this paint. This was the third Dspiae color I purchased and it's the first to really miss the mark, and not even by a small margin. To start, I had a lot of trouble getting to mix together after opening it for the first time, and I can only describe it as thick tomato soup. It was so thick that it plugged up the plastic dropper I was using to remove it from the jar, and mixing it with Dspiae's airbrush thinner didn't seem to go very well either. Initially the thinner and paint didn't mix, eventually they started blending together into watery tomato soup. Sprayed on black and gray primer...well the picture says it all. More brownish than red, and no metallic effect whatsoever. I shook the jar up many times and have yet to see a metallic flake in the paint. It's very close to the color of wet clay, but it's not red and it's definitely not metallic. (Note: I do plan on trying this over Dspiae's super silver to see if that works and will update this review after doing so.)
