Please read the last note in this review if purchasing for the 1 build issue I encountered. This is my first Gundam/Gunpla as a former 40k modeler but I did make several gundam models in my youth. Overall very happy with the model minus a few flaws. The mold quality of the plastic was very clean with no visual mold flaws I can remember, much higher quality than Games Workshop models Ive had. The gray pieces were prone to stress marks if not carefully cut but that could also be from my inexperience. Color quality was only an issue with some of the red pieces which appeared over shiny in areas after cleaning (easily resolved with a 3000 grit buffing pad). The panel lining did not take bandai brand panel pens well. I used self created washes of black or light grey for almost all the panel lining/highlighting. I did scribe in a few panel lines that were a little shallow but this was only a hand full. The joint strength is satisfactory in the limbs, however, when fully assembled the center joint between the hips has a little trouble supporting the weight of the backpack. Speaking of which, the backpack is huge. When fanned out the wing span is around 16 inches tip to tip. This results in balancing issues when posing. It does come with a "kick stand" which seems ill equipped to help with this. Adding a textured pad to the bottom of it helped prevent the kick stand from slipping. The included display base is very nice and provides plenty of support when mounted. The shoulder armor is a bit oversized but visually appealing (World of Warcraft size if you know what I mean). The shoulder joints could use a little more freedom of movement. Definitely will be my center display piece for quite a while. It is a little pricey but considering the amount of pieces and its quality I am happy with the purchase. NOTE: 1 BIG flaw. Both forearms cracked from internal stress when connecting to the elbow joint. It did include "recommend" alternate pieces for many of the joints which I used in every case. I was able to repair the damage using solvent cement and overall didnt affect the end product too bad. I recommend sanding down the "pegs" that insert into the forearms if the fit is overly tight when assembling.

It's in an MG-sized box - same dimensions as Freedom 2.0, so of course the big boy is more pricey.
