As the Prototype version of the Nacchin series, it's ironically a lot less sleek and more militaristic in style than its mass production counterparts, but that's half the charm. With a pleasant off-white and hazard orange colorway, it definitely looks like a lab experiment destined for misadventure. The build experience itself was amazing. The parts are gated exceptionally well and instructions were easy to follow. A lot of attention was given to molding details giving you a lot of opportunities for hidden paint and evokes a feeling of an assembly line as you watch it come together. With plenty of extras as well as waterslides, it's perfect for customization, and with so many fine details out of the box just a little attention to detail will go a long way.

A lot has been said about this kit over the ages, so I'll throw in my 2 cents as well. First, it's the original 80s kit, so be sure to have your plastic cement and paint handy. If you're dead-set on making it look nice, it's reccomended to paint most of the kit while it's still on the runner. Keep in mind the arms are notoriously difficult to get right, so don't be surprised if you end up cementing them in place. Sanding will be your best friend as well. Despite how poorly it's aged, it's a great way to teach certain fundamentals, and if you get frustrated, it ends up being a great test-bed for paints and other experiments. Will definitely have you falling back in love with High Grade kits.

The promo examples include the "eEXM-17 Alto [Purple]" and a custom transparent kit used to showcase optional parts. One of the images shows the Alto using boosters likely kitbashed using parts from the "Attack Submarine" kit.
