There are few kits that could ever claim to be the genuine best. From Sazabi to Nu, and now, Hi-Nu takes the lessons learned from them both to provide the single greatest kit in the hobby, for the price range. A lot of engineering is shared with RG Nu Gundam, but especially with the fin funnels, it is notably far sturdier than Nu, about as sturdy as Sazabi, even. The inner mechanics in the wings and joints demonstrate just how much Bandai has learned since the 80s, to be able to compact so much into such a small space - though this kit is by no means a slouch in size, as it shares RG Nu's height (minus the wings), making it *technically* out of scale, so if you wish to pose this with HG Nightingale, it's not gonna look super accurate, but it will still look fantastic. An absolutely necessary buy - it borders on near perfection.

A fun and significantly sturdy build. Everything except the closed fists holds together extremely well, and while the arm joints are looser than expected, they hold the included staff weapon extremely well and even encourages playing around with moving it and watching the arms move fluidly in tandem. Considering the age of this kit, it's astounding how well it holds together, when almost no modern High Grade kit I've bought lately seems to hold together well at all. A fantastic kit, would very much recommend.

According to all the reviews I saw on YouTube, when this kit came out, this was perhaps the greatest kit ever made. I had to buy it because of my unashamed love for Nu Gundam, and as soon as I started building, I had felt a level of joy I hadn't felt since I was a kid. Completed, Nu was easily the sturdiest, most functional, closest-to-perfect kit I ever had. Literally the ONLY flaw I can find is that SOMETIMES the fin funnels don't stay together well. SOMETIMES. Had I not gotten this kit immediately after the unmitigated disaster that was my (possibly defective) Qan[T] Full Saber, I think I might have given up on the entire hobby just after I picked it up. Poses exactly as described, everything works and fits perfectly... This kit is an absolute essential.

This is a BUNDLE of the kit itself, effect parts compatible with RG Hi-Nu and RG Nu, an Action Base 4 stand (black) that can display the fin funnels as though they were deployed, and water slide decals.

Think they're currently in talks to get the King Bach licensing to go with it.
