There are 3 Bandai meteors out there, two 1/144 and a metal build(80000 yen). I own the better hg version, not only the moyu driving force beats it in price and color BUT IT HAS LIGHTS. 45cm in length without beam sword effect, usb3 powered, auto turn off in few minutes. link to short video of finished product, only painted few small pieces and panel line: https://youtube.com/shorts/Li-rMDCyDgs?si=5anQwBCYVLwZCcdM
Not all the paints are on there correctly, there is white spot on the black suit and dark spots which can be seen with light reflection, I tried to use light thinner to rub them out but did not work at all. Overall it feels cheap and low quality for a $55 kit from Bandai. Glad I only got 1 out of the 3 to test it out.
Great tool for water decal until it gets wet then you just switch back to your cotton swap anyway.
This is a great kit if you want minimum painting otherwise get the regular version for more freedom on coloring. You have the option to pick the clear orange or the solid gold plated parts as your Psyco Frame. Very sophisticated kit do not recommend for beginner.

Bandai doesn't abide by the exchange rate set by banks. They build in logistics and personnel costs when pricing for MSRP in overseas markets.

The cost of production for anything is below the market price. The price in other markets is almost never 1:1 and it is very costly to ship to other continents. Logistics/materials/production/supply chain, real people needing to get paid, then you factor in taxation/tariff fees/market trends/rising prices...92 is practically a compromise.
