This kit is easily my best high grade to date. It has a nice anime accuracy and lots of room for customization. Barely any stickers. My only 2 gripes is that the rotating piece for the mono-eye doesn't have an outline for painting so I had to freehand it, and the forearm joint is just plastic on plastic so it got loose pretty quick. At least it also comes with a nice rubber skirt that allows for some amazing articulation around the hip.

If you like the Hi-nu gundam then definitely buy this kit. If you don't, then you might want to pass. I don't to leave the review long so here's this: Pros: Comes with a stand, funnel effects, and everything you need to make the hi-nu look complete. Has good proportions and looks like it should. It goes for "Manga-accuracy" and delivers. For 80$, you get exactly what you pay for. Cons: Fin funnel effects are very fiddly. Won't be messing with them at all in the future. The built feels old in some areas and can be a bit fiddly. Fin funnels don't hold on very well and the back is pretty heavy. Joints feel loose on my kit which doesn't help with the heavy backpack. I personally like the standard nu more so I didn't have too much fun with this kit. But you might, idk. If you don't want to wait for the rg, or like 1/100 scale like me, then just get this one.

Probably the best starter kit on the market at the moment. But needs some extra gray on the knees and sides of the head. Plus the vents on the face, or else the kit just looks kind of plain. Other than that, this kit outshines any other HG Rx-78 kit that bandai has produced. $10 is less than what this kit is worth.

Pros: You get a very solid kit despite its age. Its build shows its age but I don't list that as a con. It has very nice proportions and the only stickers are for the eyes and sensors. Comes with dry transfers. The V fin feels slightly softer than the normal amour plastics helped me prevent a V-fin snap during the transformation. Cons: Lots of little black parts to fill in with paint. Uses the old style master grade hands so it can barely hold onto its buster rifle (if at all). The other accessories are great tho. Doesn't come with the signature waterslides of a ver ka. kit. They want you to put a massive dry transfer over the rounded shield. Like, why? Mine turned out ok, but I think I just got lucky. Had to cut the longer parts off of the wing decals because they had to go over large edges, and I wasn't about to go though that mess. Overall 7/10. Can be a headache tho.

It's alright. Has some loose joints and some terrible stickers. The shoulder pads can get in the way but other than that the kit is fine.

I mean it's the Tamiya accent panel liner. I don't know how you could get any better.

Most of the exia is intact underneath the new parts. You can almost create the original exia from the leftover parts. The problem with that is that the new parts retro-fit over the old ones. Like the shoulders are held on to the joint that held the beamsabers. It gets quite floppy and has relatively limited articulation. On the other hand, the new parts are nice. They are study and look good with the included decals. There are standard style decals, dry transfers, and waterslides included! Its a good kit if you want it to just sit on the shelf, but a little too fragile for playability.

This is probably the best kit i've built so far. Tight joints, amazing articulation, and just enough detail.

The looks are really good along with the surface detail. The only problem is that the mace is too large for the lupus rex to hold up. An actionbase is required to hold it up (even with tightening the joints). Only buy this if you are willing to put in the extra work to make it look good.

Put these inside my mg dynames and kyrios. They give out a nice amount of glow and look very good but are just too finicky. They keep flickering if i barely touch the kit.

I've been hearing rumors that Bandai is planning on making a PG Unleashed in the near future.
