Question

Answer
If it’s not on the website, don’t expect it anytime soon. Usually, products are added when it is confirmed in transit to Newtype so people can wishlist and be notified when it’s available.

Pretty but frustrating
Full disclosure, this is my first resin conversion. I am a relatively experienced modeler and thought I could handle this quite well. Overall, the process was extremely hard and offputting for me. I know for a fact I cleaned the resin and primed properly, but still had massive amounts of paint chipping. This meant that I could not mask off the different panels that the resin kit brings to the table. Essentially, the entire reason I bought the resin kit was nullified because I could not trust that the paint wouldn’t be ripped off by standard detacked tamiya masking tape. Again, I do not know if this is my fault or the kits (not likely) but I cannot help but feel like the experience was completely a waste of time and money given the outcome. My kit still looks very good, and that is somewhat in part to the resin kit, but be forewarned, make sure the kit is fully clean and sanded EXTREMELY well before any kind of priming. And make sure your primer is good for resin. And then make sure the primer doesn’t chip off from masking tape before applying paint coats.
I also want to mention that there are parts (the shoulder assembly) that have their own build process but there is no instructions whatsoever in the kit. I find this incredibly annoying and it caused issues as I was trying to force these alternate shoulder parts into stock inner frame pieces and ended up bending a couple quite badly. Its not hard to add some instructions for these conversions and this really just made the whole process worse for me.
Overall, if I could give a 3.5-3.8 I would. It’s a good kit as far as resin goes and most parts fit perfectly fine. There were a few instances of parts being blocked in odd places that necessitated major modification efforts though.
There are a few good videos on this particular conversion on youtube so check them out before buying.
