Hi,
this cordless airbrush differs from the portable compressor. The Universal Portable Compressor has a 1/8" Female screw connection making it compatible with ANY 1/8" airbrush (adapters open up even more possibilities). It is also compatible with hoses so you can move freely while airbrushing. The Cordless Airbrush 0.3mm does not have a 1/8" female screw connection so it is only compatible with the airbrush it comes with. Great Airbrush, inconsistent Compressors
Marking my first real foray into painting with an airbrush, this serves as an excellent way of starting out within the medium. There does seem to be some quality control issues with the portable compressor itself, but Newtype was very quick to solve the issue in my particular case. (Thanks again!) Otherwise, this thing is fun to use and I recommend it overall, just be prepared to have a small chance of getting unlucky the first go around!

For beginners and minimalist
As others have stated, this is a great starting point for anyone looking to get into airbrushing and haven't already OR if you don't want to pay for a full size noisy compressor, this is a good quiet budget option. I myself started with this set up but eventually moved on to a more traditional airbrush set up (hose/compressor).
It works great for small projects and its fine for full on kits, but you will want to buy the extra battery sold on this shop if you plan on doing long projects with this set up.

Good for beginners
The overall thing about this set up, you well learn how to thin your paints. Don't under any circumstances use pre-thinned paints with out thinning them further, or your paints well splatter spary. Over all highly recommended for beginners that are on the fence about air brushing.
