Is this a recolor of a previous astray or are the parts new molds that aren’t compatible with the original hg astray red frame?
Answer
The only thing that's a little bit different is the shoulders - two new joints making it more inline with normal modern HG (kitbashing).

Solid
It’s actually a solid kit with a great color scheme. It’s based off a 2000 something kit. The undergating experience sucked though.

First build ever. Fun, easy, and great look!
Was nervous jumping right into this build from never doing any model building ever. The instructions were very clear and it turned out great! Def recommend as a first outing. Have fun!

First undergate kit!
The red frame is all undergated and that was super cool to see for my first time. The articulation is great and the color separation is good on everything but the sword. The stickers were big and unwieldy for me. I have had trouble keeping the side skirting armor on while posing, especially with the sword sheath attached.

Clean up
Fun build, great articulation, solid joints, and lots of accessories.
Downside is the color scheme can make for some pesky clean up if you don't have the right tools. Additionally the colors make it challenging to add detail with panel lining, and such. A little too many color correcting stickers is a bummer as well. Looks cool once it's all done though.

dope astray kit in the inverted iteration. awesome for a hg especially with the accessories it comes with (jet pack, sword, shield, etc.). good posing and stable joints imo. fun and well worth the money whether you’re a novice or a pro
