I got this even though I have the Bandai high grade in my backlog because this looks classier with better proportions according to the pictures. I was very eager to build this and bumped it up to the top of the queue as soon as it arrived, but I was sorely disappointed with the build from beginning to end. There’s not much to like about the way this kit comes together aside from the legs. Fit is really poor in the head, torso, and thighs. Sanding and glue help, but it's kind of ridiculous how much fit adjustment and seamline removal this kit needs. Articulation is terrible. The wings are too heavy. The joints are weak, especially the forearms. Glaring nubs and seamlines on the torso, shoulders, waist, biceps, etc. They undergated the nose of the backpack but almost nowhere else. It can’t hold any pose for long with the weak joints and terrible tiny polycaps, other than a simple standing pose. The sword is too heavy for the forearm connection, which is so weird to just make it a tiny friction fit peg connection because there is no arm-shooting gimmick or anything like that with this kit. This is up near the top of the list of most overpriced kits ever. Its nice proportions are worthless if I cant even pose it. This is going in a storage bin.

Apart from a few missing colors that’re easy to hand paintand a few annoying seamlines, this kits perfect. The joints extend to allow for better articulation without breaking the sculpt, and it does this thing with the thigh armor where it swivels around to keep the look clean. It’s about the size of a small MG, (think Deathscythe EW), but the wingspan of the Kaiser Scrander is insane, roughly trippling the width of the kit. 9/10, I really hope we get more kits in this style
