When I was first into Gunpla (read: 2002) one of my favorite kits was the SD Neue Ziel, and had always meant to get this kit to go with it - but never did. When I finally came back to the hobby after a loooooong hiatus, I pulled that old Neue Ziel out of storage and gave it a full clean up and paint job, but I was a little sad that I hadn't ever picked up this kit and figured it probably didn't exist any more. You can imagine my excitement, then, when I discovered one for sale here! From an actual review standpoint, this kit is what you would expect from a close to 20 year old SD kit; not a lot of color separation or articulation. Given that, the only real criticism I have is that getting the "Stamen" mobile suit into the "Orchis" armed base was less well fit than I expected - but my expectations were probably higher than they should have been for that anyway. Overall a very fun little kit, and very unique even by SD standards. *note: the red beam saber in the attached photo is NOT from this kit
