Question
hi im wanting to kit bash this with the Gundam Alex HGUC arms and cant find any good views or know if the arms will be compatible for a kitbash. same with god gundam HGFC. are there any good substitue kits i can use to have machine gun arms to a custom nu?
Answer
The arms from the Alex are compatible with this kit. All the kits I mention that are suitable replacements I actually fitted to verify compatibility. As for substitutes HGUC#45 (Gelgoog jager) is a good replacement if you want to use the nu shoulders. Do not use HGUC#76 (Gelgoog cannon) because the pegs to hold on the arms is significantly larger than the nu. I'm not sure if HGUC#16 (Gelgoog marine),26 (Cima's custom gelgoog marine), and 70 (Char's custom gelgoog) will work so buyer beware. The other replacement if you don't care about the shoulders would be HGUC#124 (Dreissen). I can't think of too many other kits that have guns on the forearms besides the HGGTO full scale deployment gundam and I don't have one to test. As for the god gundam I do not own one to play Frankenstein with. Good luck on your endeavor.

A great HG
While overshadowed by its more recent and detailed cousins in the other lines, the HG version is no slouch. If you prefer a more anime-like look, this one is also closer to how the suit looked in Char's Counterattack.
This is an older HG model, so the articulation is not as fine as in some newer HG models - however, it is still very sturdy and can do some great poses. You'll have to be careful with balance due to how top-heavy the funnels and the bazooka can make the model, but I've otherwise been able to perch him up on a shelf without a stand.
This is a model where some lining can make a world of difference. If you are curious about using gundam markers or other liners, this is a good model to show what a big difference it can make on HG models. I am still a rookie in the gunpla department and this was really my first attempt at using liners, but I was happy with how much nicer my model looked was with some markers. I also used some matte topcoat which really helped to make the contrast between the whites and black in this kit really pop.
The only gripe I would have with this model are with some of the stickers. In particular, the two meant for the feet and the other for the emblem on the waist. These really do not seem to stick very well to the gundam, and in particular the one in the torso just never really looks right. I may have to go back over those with some paint, as they are just simple color decals rather than emblems.
This model also stands noticeably taller than my other HG figures, almost like a small MG in some ways. This kit took longer to build than my other HGs, but it wasn't difficult. Putting the funnels together was probably the most time consuming part of assembly. Just be sure to pay very careful attention to what parts you are using when putting the funnels together, since it impacts the way they will link together.
Overall, this is a fun model to build. It may not have the better detailing of its larger cousins or the flexibility of newer models, but it is a great model for when it was released and is a good addition to anyone's collection, especially if you want some nice looking HG models.

Not the bets detail
The kit itself for the age is really good but it doesn't match with the newer hg's and the detail is very plain, but you can just fix that with some scribing and pla-plating. A really good thing about this kit is it's pretty solid
