This paint isn't meant to be metallic, it's a base coat to apply metallic colors over. It's worked great for me with the the super silver over it (see pic). It's also a good base coat for Mr Hobby's crystal color paint line (see pic for the Mr Hobby amethyst purple over Dspiae super black). Ignore the one star review, it's inaccurate. Or don't and leave more super black for me to buy.

Dspaie has really screwed this up , the paint is aweful ......the metallics have no metallic in them and they spray blocky......yes I mixed them thoroughly with a stirring stick and a vortex mixer
