I don't have anything else quite like this up on my shelf. It's a fairly simple build with a lot of ABS for the inner-frame, no polycaps. The articulation isn't great but it'll pull off most poses OK. The beam ribbon effects look surprisingly decent. And it comes with a basic stand as well, which is always nice. It's a genuinely striking kit up on the shelf. Really stands out. Looks fantastic.

This is not a $21 HG value in terms of plastic. It's tiny and very simple. I'm sure the price is more because it's really popular. The build is super fast but still very satisfying. Not sure exactly why it was so fun. It's just really solid. Poses nicely. The feet are huge, so you don't need to use the awkwardly positioned stand placement. The feet do tend to fall out at the ankles though, but it's easily fixed. My wife loves it.

No Polycaps! The joints on this are solid, and hold a pose as long as you want/need it to. The "hair" is on a funky ball joint, and has a problem with staying on, or in place sometimes though. Due to the age of the kit itself it doesn't have a whole lot of range of motion, and needs come color correction paints if you don't use the stickers. Other than that it's an iconic mobile suit design, and deserves to be in your collection.

Like half the size of every other 1\144. Overall not bad, falls a part if you look at it wrong. But its a good change from the "boy" gundams. Gonna need to mod it so its not a dwarf.

This is one of my favorite Gundams and certainly a worthwhile kit to add to your collection. The beam whip accessories are interesting and it also includes hands for the G Gundam to recreate the iconic pose after their battle in Mobile Fighter G Gundam. Having larger hands I struggled slightly with a few of the smaller parts of this model but eventually was able to get it all together and it looks absolutely amazing. Wouldn't rate this overall as a hard build whatsoever and definitely quicker to put together than some of the Gundams I've built from Wing.
