Does this fit better with HG/RG/EG models, or is it sized for MG?

In my opinion it is brst for MG since the stand arm is taller. I do think you need an adapter to plug the smaller models in (you can find them in action base 1) EDIT: it comes with an adapter

This base is clearly designed for 1/100 (MG) scale models. Smaller models (1/144, HG, RG, EG) look a little out of scale. But it's not terrible. I use it for my HG models all the time.
