After the One Year War, the RGM-79 design became the backbone of the Earth Federation Forces. Many variants were produced throughout the 0080s. This Land-based GM type "Sniper" equips a long-range beam rifle and is cast in a deep green color. With all the heat and power that rifle packs, it needs an external generator and coolant chamber, which is included in the set. The generator can be connected to the sniper through two plastic tubes of different thickness. Not only does it come with the GM Sniper armaments, but all of the original GM Ground Type weapons are included too! Any fan of The 08th MS Team will love this kit; any fan of Gundam in general will appreciate the most unique GM variant of the UC timeline.

This is one of the few MGs that seems to get the short end of the stick when it comes to consistent reprints; however, very few MGs are actually discontinued (and almost all of those because a newer and superior version has been released, like the 1.0s of the Grandpa, Zaku, Alex, and S/Ex-S), so it might take quite a while (even years), but I highly doubt they'd completely stop making it (especially when we know they have the original molds given how often the stock GM Ground Type gets reprinted and the P-Bandai HG version showing the MS itself hasn't been forgotten).
