This was my first RG kit and I loved it, but it’s not perfect. I’d say the biggest issue is with the core block system. While I love that it has a core fighter it does mean that the connection between the top and bottom half of the kit can be a bit finicky. That being said once the kit is built up and you find the right pose it’s going to look excellent especially if you do some panel lining and put it on an action base. I’m very happy with my finished product and with a little TLC and patience you will too.

Gundam 0083 is my favorite series so I was stoked to grab a detailed kit in such a compact scale. It was my first RG so I wasn't sure what to expect but ultimately I was underwhelmed with the process. It's such a finicky kit if you don't plan on gluing the abdomen and shoulder sections down. I don't think it's a complicated kit to build but I really recommend against this being one of your first RGs if you haven't jumped into the line yet. I think experience helps you piece it together and get a product you're happy with. It's gorgeous when it's done but putting it together is such a headache. I thought parts of the instructions were unclear and I'd recommend the MG version of this suit before the RG.

I like the look of the GPO1Fb. However, it's very fragile in the chest, making posing difficult and I had difficulty doing anything other than a standing idle pose. I still had fun during assembly, and any other part [than the chest] is pretty sturdy with decent articulation. Not exactly my favorite RG kit mechanically, although it does look nice.
