Difference in printing method
● Decals for foil printing (CF printing)
Foil transfer printing is used for products with foil (= foil) in the names of products such as “Foil Holo Silver” and “Foil Silver”. There is a limit to clear paint that can be applied. The only recommended clears are SHOW UP "Hobby-only 1-pack urethane clear", and runner-up Creos GX color "Super Clear III" only. If you want to use a clear other than the recommended one, please test it yourself. Gloss finish recommended. In the case of matte finish, the polarization effect and mirror-like characteristics are lost.
● Toner printing decals
“Fluorescent white”, “phosphorescent toner”, etc. There is no limit to clear paint that can be applied. You can use any clear paint for general models, but the recommended clear is Creos GX color "Super Clear III". In either case, it is difficult to see the print, so please check the pattern while reflecting it from an angle or illuminating it with a black light.
● SIJ printing
“SIJ Color” “Gray” “White” “Metallic XXX” etc. There is a limit to clear paint that can be applied. The recommended clear is Creos GX color "Super Clear III".
